Out in the garden and in need of a quick game? Here’s a super simple one for you. Dress this up as a rescue mission for some helpless eggs and you’ll have captured your little one’s imagination with it to!
You only need some plastic eggs and something to catch them in. We used a bucket. A plastic bowl or a net would work well too.

Encourage your little one to come to the rescue of the helpless eggs as they catapult through the air (you gently throw them) into the rescue receptacle (a bucket). Try starting off close together and then gradually moving further apart as your little one gains confidence. Ev loved this – the look of concentration on his face was adorable and he was so excited each time that he saved an egg!
This activity is great for co-ordination, observation and motor skills.
