Easter toddler activity

The leaning tower of omlette

Need a couple of minutes to demolish an Easter egg? Look no further. If the tower doesn’t appeal to your little one, knocking it down is sure to!

You only need plastic eggs halves!

Before you get started: be sure to check out my 8 Principles of Play!

Simply take your egg halves and lay them out on a flat surface. Then, start building a tower by placing one half on top of another. A few excited cries of “wow, look how tall my tower is!” and “ohhh it’s wobbling!” are sure to grab your little one’s interest and before you know it they’ll be in on the action. Ev loved this and found it hilarious when our towers began to wobble around!

This activity is great for fine motor skills, co-ordination and observation.
